Paul Perrin Named Friends for Life of America President

GAINESVILLE, December 13, 2004 - Board of Trustees Chairman Steven D. Cohen announced today that Paul Perrin will assume day-to-day operations of Friends for Life of America as President of the Gainesville-based organization.

Perrin brings three years of experience in various leadership roles to Friends for Life of America, including his most recent involvement as President of the University of Florida chapter.  In addition to his involvement with the organization, Perrin conducts research examining the physiological and brain basis of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.

"I am confident that Paul is uniquely qualified to lead our organization into the future," Cohen says of Perrin's appointment.  "He is a very valuable and motivated addition to our team."

"I am honored to accept a national leadership role in this incredible organization," says Perrin. "I have enjoyed bringing University of Florida students the opportunity to improve the quality of life for pediatric cancer patients and their families, and I am excited about continuing this important work on a national level."
