Board of Trustees Replaces National Board

GAINESVILLE, January 2, 2004 — The Board of Trustees will replace the National Board as the official governing body of Friends for Life of America, effective January 16, 2004.

The Board of Trustees, a group of former chapter and national officers, will supervise all activities in the interest and for the benefit of pediatric cancer patients and their families. These activities will be organized by Friends for Life of America participating schools worldwide.

Steven D. Cohen, Chairman of the Board of Trustees expressed his delight with the newly appointed board members. "These distinguished leaders will draw on their vast organizational experience to help Friends for Life of America continue to improve the quality of life for pediatric cancer patients around the world," said Cohen.
