Members support American Red Cross relief effort

GAINESVILLE, September 14, 2001 — In response to the September 11th attacks on our nation, members collected more than $5,000 for the American Red Cross Liberty Disaster Relief Fund, said Friends for Life of America National Chairman Steven D. Cohen.

"We are proud to support the families of the victims by supporting the important relief efforts of the American Red Cross," said Cohen. "Besides making financial contributions, all of us can continue to help our communities through this trying time by simply carrying on with the basic tasks of daily life."
