


Friends for Life of America announces new senior officers
GAINESVILLE, July 23, 2001 National Chairman Steven D. Cohen announced the senior leadership appointments for the Friends for Life of America National Board.
"Friends for Life of America continues to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families by serving our communities. As more schools join our organizational initiatives, this leadership team will further enhance our ability to link members and patients through our innovative programs and services," said Cohen.
Andy Knopp
Senior Vice-President
Andy Knopp is a sophomore at the University of Kansas where he is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. Andy is involved in the Student Senate, University Council, Engineering Student Council, and the University Daily Kansan Editorial Board.
Jason Alperstein
Administrative Vice-President
Jason Alperstein is currently a sophomore at Brown University pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Law and Public Policy. Jason joins the Friends for Life of America National Board after gaining substanial experience by serving as a Chapter President.
Kristin DeBusk
Executive Secretary
Kristin DeBusk is currently attending Texas Tech University in pursuit of undergraduate degrees in History and Technical Communications. Kristin is the cofounder of the One Voice Campaign to raise money for the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial and to stop violence in schools.
