$12 Adults/Children - pre-registered, by 5 pm on February 29, 2008
$15 Adults/Children - normal registration, day of race, March 1, 2008, before start at 8:30am.

Friends for Life of America reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. Please, for the safety of our runners, no walkers, animals, or baby strollers are permitted on the course. In consideration of my application being accepted by the race directors so that I may participate in the "Mile for a Child 5K," sponsored by Friends for Life of America, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, waive, release, and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for damages that I may have or which may hereafter accrue to me against Friends for Life of America, the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, the State of Florida, the Florida Board of Education, the University of Florida Board of Trustees, the University of Florida, and any subsidiary or political subdivision thereof, its or their respective officers, agents, representatives, successors, assigns, and sponsors for any and all damages/death that may be sustained and suffered by me in connection with my association with or entry or participation in the "Mile for a Child 5K." I understand that a physical examination is not required to qualify to participate in this event and that all competitors participate at their own risk. (If in doubt as to your physical condition to engage in an event as strenuous as "Mile for a Child 5K," it is strongly recommended that you seek the advice of a competent physician.) I also understand that in the event that the race cannot be held as scheduled because of an act of God or circumstances beyond control, Friends for Life of America is not liable to refund any money paid by me to participate. I release the rights to any and all photographic material, including film and computer information Friends for Life of America may wish to release for this event without obligation to me. All persons under 18 years of age must have written consent of parent or legal guardian to compete in the aforementioned event.

By visiting our tables in Turlington Plaza or the Reitz Union prior to the race (cash, check or money order is acceptable).
Bring your cash, check, or money order to our registration table the day of the race.
