Jacqueline Gunter joined Friends for Life as a freshman at UF. She immediately fell in love with the organization and began coming to every event she could. In her next three years she served as Director of Public Relations, Corresponding Secretary and Chief of Staff. In addition to actively participating on the executive board Jacqueline has helped organize a number of other events including the first two Annual Lance Dalton Memorial Silent Auctions. In her time with Friends for Life Jacqueline has gone to Camp Boggy Creek, volunteered innumerable times at the Shands pediatric clinic and Hope Lodge, and even got to ride Space Mountain for the first time at the Disney Ride-a-thon.
Jacqueline has always been willing to contribute to Friends for Life in any way she can, from writing press releases for events or speaking before the student senate at a budget defense. She is known as one of the most dedicated, dependable, and by far one of the most organized members of the executive board.
Aside from being a good student, Jacqueline also finds time to do public relations work for Shands. She and her friends enjoy spending Thursday nights together relaxing and watching their favorite tv shows after meetings.
Jacqueline will graduate with her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations this May. After graduating she plans to marry fellow Friends for Life member Brian Lorenzetti. Together they will move to the Orlando area where both will begin their careers.
