I am pleased to announce the ten year anniversary of Friends for Life of America!

When I founded Friends for Life of America as a small high school club ten years ago, I never imagined that the organization eventually would impact tens of thousands of pediatric cancer patients in thirty countries.

Over the past decade, we have provided educational, emotional, and financial support for pediatric cancer patients and their families by:

• Encouraging 50,000 student volunteers from 35 colleges and universities throughout the United States, Australia, Ghana, and Nepal to participate in our programs
• Awarding $100,000 to 10 beneficiaries through our Kids First Grant Program
• Mailing 100,000 handmade holiday cards to pediatric patients spending the holiday season in hospitals across the country
• Providing hats and teddy bears to pediatric cancer patients in 30 countries
• Heightening awareness of pediatric cancer trends and treatments through community forums featuring Dr. Patch Adams and Dr. John Graham-Pole

With a long list of beneficiaries and a strong record of helping patients in need, we are very proud of our accomplishments over the past ten years. With your support, we will continue to offer innovative programs and services that touch the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families for years to come.
